Hello beloved people, greetings to you in Jesus name. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. We will continue with our last topic about Righteousness. If you missed it click HERE.
It's quite an extensive topic, but you know the things of God are done by as the Spirit leads. The Word of God is deep, the Word of God is Life and Spirit and it comes with revelations.
We will start this part two by first defining Righteousness. Righteousness is a nature. It describes the nature and character of the spirit. It is perfection. Absolute perfection! Righteousness is the very nature of God, that makes God, God. It is the rightness of God that makes it impossible for God to lie. God cannot lie, He is Holy. If He lies, the lie becomes truth, because it is impossible for Him to lie.
Every man that came into this world from Adam is spiritually separated from God, because his nature is tainted, sinful. Remember our God is Holy. The bible said in Romans 5 verse 12 NLT, "When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned."
So how do we connect to our Holy God with our sinful nature. 1st Peter 1 verse 16 says, 'Because it is written, Be ye Holy; for I am Holy.' How can you be holy when your nature is unholy? Meaning, because of Adam, you are sinful by default immediately you were born into this world. But you see, God made a way for us to escape this unholy nature and become holy like Him in Christ Jesus.
Meaning, when you receive and confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, you will be born again, with a new nature of Righteousness, that makes you Holy like God. Romans 5verse 17 says, 'For if by one man's offence death reigned one, much more they which receive the Abundance of Grace and the Gift of Righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offence of one (Adam), judgement came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the Righteousness of one (Jesus Christ), the free gift came upon ALL men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.'
In Summary, righteousness is a gift from God, giving to you in Christ Jesus. All you need to do is to believe to receive by confessing Jesus as your Lord. It is not difficult, it is simple. That is why it is called GOOD NEWS. Good news means, hey! 'God is not mad at you, He loves you dearly and has paid for your sins when Jesus died for you. Just accept that He died for you, and that He was raised from the dead by God and confess Him as your Lord.'
You see, as simple as this is, the devil has blocked and confused a lot of people from believing this. But God will remove the veil of doubt and unbelieve from your heart in Jesus name.
Jesus Christ is the Answer. At the mention of the name Jesus, every knee must bow. If you do not receive Him as your Lord, the Bible said, you will go to hell when you die. I don't wait to find out if it's true when I die. Tomorrow may just be too late for you, because there's no repentance in the grave. Do it now and be free. There's an interesting life to live in Christ Jesus and with the amount of evil in the world today, no where is safe except in Christ Jesus. Don't be deceived, tomorrow is not promised to the sinner. But you have today to make Jesus your Lord.
